Michele Campbell is one of my favorite authors, but this one was probably my least favorite by her. If you are a fan of hers, pick this one up and see for yourself! But if you aren’t it’s hard for me to say that this is a must read.

The first chapter sucked me in and I was excited to see what happens next. I’ll say I stayed interested in the story throughout the whole book but I kept waiting for something more, a huge twist or something shocking, which is what I personally love in thrillers. The ending was definitely interesting but a bit messy. There were twists but none of them were really shocking in my opinion.

Now I know it sounds like I didn’t like this book but I honestly did, it just isn’t one of my favorites. I liked the short chapters, loved that I doubted everyone and that kept me guessing, and I stayed intrigued throughout the book and never got bored.
