  • I see you automatically gift wrap all orders, but what if I don’t want my orders gift wrapped? That is perfectly okay if you do not want your orders gift wrapped. If you let us know in the order notes section during checkout, we will make sure to package your order without any gift wrapping (mobile view screenshot below shows where to add order notes)
  • How do the Thriller Book Lover monthly boxes work? Thriller Book Lover boxes are available each month. Each month will feature new books and bookish items. Thriller Book Lover monthly boxes include newly released books that we read and highly recommend. We strive to make each monthly box unique, and also include thriller books that we think our customers will love. The boxes are a one-time payment, no subscription involved.
  • What are the Thriller Theme boxes? Thriller Theme boxes are put together based on a selected theme. Right now, we are working on many more thriller theme boxes for our customers to enjoy. These boxes are also a one-time payment, no subscription involved.
  • Can I customize a book box? Yes, we can customize a book box for you. If you would like to customize an existing book box or work together to create a one-of-a-kind book box just for you or as a gift for someone else, you can let us know by contacting us here. If you just want to swap a book in an existing book box for another one on our website, you can let us know in the Notes section during checkout or send us an email after placing the order.
  • Can I include a personalized gift note? Absolutely! If you would like to include a gift note, let us know what it should say in the Notes section when you check out. We do not charge extra for this service.
  • How much does shipping cost, and do you offer international shipping? Shipping is free for all orders made within the USA. Right now, we offer shipping to Canada and the United Kingdom too, but there is a flat rate shipping fee for international orders. We are in the process of expanding our international shipping to include more areas too.
  • How long does shipping take? Typically, weekday orders are processed in 1-3 weekdays, and then it takes about 2-5 business days for our carrier to deliver the order. All orders received over the weekends will be shipped that upcoming Monday or Tuesday. Usually, customers receive their orders from our store within 2-8 business days. We always strive to process and ship orders as efficiently as possible, so you get your orders fast. For international orders, it can take up to 15 days to receive your order. *During special promotional sales, processing times may be longer due to a higher volume of orders than usual.* If you ever have any questions about your order status, please submit an email to our team using our contact submission form.
  • How long does shipping take if an item is listed as on backorder? Backorders usually take no longer than 10 business days to ship. When we list an item on backorder, that means our restock inventory is already on the way to our facility.
  • Will I receive a tracking number after I place an order? Yes, you should receive your tracking number by email after your order has been processed and shipped. If you do not see an email in your primary inbox folder, be sure to check your spam folder. Once you create an account with us, your order and tracking information will show up there as well. However, if you do not see your tracking number, you can always contact us here, and we will let you know that information asap.
  • There’s a thriller book that I want to get, but I don’t see it available on your website. How can I notify you about this? We strive to have a vast selection of thriller books for our customers to choose from. If there’s a thriller book that you would like us to get in stock, please let us know by filling out this thriller book suggestion form.
  • For some of the books, it says “Like New,” how is this different from “New”? Thriller Book Lover store contains both New and Like New book inventory. Both New and Like New books have never been read before. The only difference between these two is that Like New may contain a publisher extra mark (remainder mark), which is the publisher’s way of signifying that this book can not be returned to the publisher. This remainder mark is a discreet marking on the exterior of the book pages, and many readers often do not even notice it.
  • When posting reviews at Thriller Book Lover, how do I add a photo to my account? Thriller Book Lover is a Gravatar-enabled site. A Gravatar is a “Globally Recognized Avatar.” When you create a Gravatar account and upload your image, it will show up automatically when you write reviews on the Thriller Book Lover website. So, if you would like your Thriller Book Lover reviews to show up with your photo, you must first create a Gravatar account and add your picture there.
